Two training manuals were developed
under the PDTRC grant. The Community Assessment Guidebook contains
step-by-step information on how to conduct community discussion
groups to collect information about diabetes. The Pacific Diabetes
Today Guidebook: A Course in Diabetes Program Planning was designed
to help communities develop, implement, and evaluate diabetes prevention
and control initiatives that captured the unique sociocultural
perspectives and processes of Hawai‘i and the Pacific region.
