Two training manuals were developed under the PDTRC grant. The Community Assessment Guidebook contains step-by-step information on how to conduct community discussion groups to collect information about diabetes. The Pacific Diabetes Today Guidebook: A Course in Diabetes Program Planning was designed to help communities develop, implement, and evaluate diabetes prevention and control initiatives that captured the unique sociocultural perspectives and processes of Hawai‘i and the Pacific region.
